MarY Magdalene and the Holy Grial.
I read this book and I liked it a lot because I find it very interesting.
The 1982 book, Holy Blood, Holy Grail suggested that Mary Magdalene was, literally, the Holy Grail, the vessel that carried Christ's blood into Europe. The idea is based on a minor French legend about a mysterious discovery by a parish priest, who supposedly learned the suppressed "truth" and used it to extort money from the Roman Catholic Church. Dan Brown's book, The Da Vinci Code, is based largely on the ideas presented in Holy Blood, Holy Grail.
In 1982, a book called Holy Blood, Holy Grail was published in the United States by Henry Lincoln, Michael Baigent, and Richard Leigh. In their book, the authors examined a French legend of a small area known as Rennes-le-Chateau. The legend claimed that in the 1800s the parish priest, Beringer Sauniere, undertook the remodeling of his church, which had been built in the 10th century. In the course of the work, the main altar was taken down. Inside of a pillar that had supported the altar, Sauniere allegedly discovered secret documents containing mysterious codes.
Sauniere took the documents to his superior in Paris, who arranged to have them translated and the codes decrypted. Upon his return to Rennes-le-Chateau, he mysteriously went from an impoverished state to extreme wealth, undertaking several construction projects that would have exceeded his regular income. The legend goes on to say that Sauniere was investigated by the Church but charges were dropped after he made a trip to Rome. On his deathbed, it was said, he divulged a secret so disturbing to the priest who was administering last rites that the priest left the room and refused to finish the job, leaving Sauniere to die without absolution.
The codes in the documents, we are told, alluded to a lost treasure, secret societies and the origins of Christianity. The authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grail conclude that they are related to Holy Grail mythology that referred not to a chalice, but to Mary Magdalene, who carried Jesus' blood into Europe in the form of an unborn child. The child then went on to marry and form the first line of French kings, known as the Merovingians.
Holy Blood, Holy Grail created an enormous sensation, and almost immediately spawned an entire genre of related literature based on the idea that Jesus and Mary Magdalene had been married and founded the Merovingian bloodline. Although the authors now defend their work as "speculation" rather than anything that can be proved, it has become very clear that there is a contingent of die-hard believers in the new Holy Grail mythology. A conspiracy theory at its root, Holy Blood, Holy Grail alleges that the Roman Catholic Church was aware of the bloodline and has suppressed the knowledge for two millennia.

Michael Jeffrey Jordan was born February 17 of 1963 is a retired and a widely-know American professional basketball player and active businessman. His biography on the National Basketball Association (NBA) website states, "By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time.Jordan was one of the most effectively marketed athletes of his generation, and was instrumental in popularizing the NBA around the world in the 1980s and 1990s.
After a stand-out career at the University of North Carolina, Jordan joined the NBA's Chicago Bulls in 1984. He quickly emerged as one of the stars of the league, entertaining crowds with his prolific scoring. His leaping ability, illustrated by performing slam dunks from the free throw line at Slam Dunk Contests, earned him the nicknames "Air Jordan" and "His Airness." He also gained a reputation as one of the best defensive players in basketball. In 1991, he won his first NBA championship with the Bulls, and followed that achievement with titles in 1992 and 1993, securing a "three-peat." Though Jordan abruptly left the NBA at the beginning of the 1993-94 NBA season to pursue a career in baseball, he rejoined the Bulls in 1995 and led them to three additional championships (1996, 1997, and 1998) as well as an NBA-record 72 regular-season wins in the 1995–96 season. Jordan retired for a second time in 1999, but he returned for two more NBA seasons in 2001 as a member of the Washington Wizards.
Jordan's individual accolades and accomplishments include five MVP awards, ten All-NBA First Team designations, nine All-Defensive First Team honors, fourteen NBA All-Star Game appearances and three All-Star MVP, ten scoring titles, three steals titles, six NBA Finals MVP awards, and the 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. He holds the NBA record for highest career regular season scoring average with 30.12 points per game, as well as averaging a record 33.4 points per game in the playoffs. In 1999, he was named the greatest North American athlete of the 20th century by ESPN, and was second to Babe Ruth on the Associated Press's list of athletes of the century. He will be eligible for induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009.
Jordan is also noted for his product endorsements. He fueled the success of Nike's Air Jordan sneakers, which were introduced in 1985 and remain popular today. Jordan also starred in the 1996 feature film Space Jam. He is currently a part-owner and Managing Member of Basketball Operations of the Charlotte Bobcats in North Carolina.

QuEstiOnsS!..
In what way do you think the author and his daugther benefited from the visit??
they were benefited because they could realized about other people's situacions and the poverty in which those people lived.. so the author and his daugther could appreciate what they had and all the blessings that the had in their lifes.
what do you think motivated the author to being doing volunteer work???
I think the author was motivated by his dauther reaction. he could see that his little girls understood about suffering hungry and pain and he could notice that his daugther had beautiful feeling he saw that she wanted to hepl and she felt sorry about homeless. she was sad for thoses people's situacion and the author could nothice that his dauther was worry about what all that people felt.
would you consider the author a heroe ? why or why no?
of course he is a heroe ..he not only kept his good intencions for himself as we used to do it sometimes. and insted of that he help that old woman and spent sometime with her , so he could show his daugther how to be kindness and to care for other people and in that way the little girl learned to share all that she had with people who dont' have anything

fEel comfortable its all that matters
I like to wear the latest fashions sometimes but for me it's more important to feel comfortable with my outfit.
I love higheels and all that girly things but sometimes is very tired and expensive wear the lastest fashions.I think that your outfit should be original and related to your personality feel comforbable with wthat you are wearing is all that matters.
feel relaxed with you favorite t-shirt and with a pair of sneakers is better than be tired of being walkin all day long with a beautiful high heels.
the girls use to worry about their appereance and they always want to look pretty ..I am a girl and I like to wear like ...one but I guess there a lot of places that you dont need to look perfect and a casual outfit it's ok ..
I think you dont have to worry about lookin so perfect every single day .. Its better to feel comfortable with what are you wearing because sometimes your attitud reflectes how do you feel and it's better a relaxed imagen than a streesed one ..
